My partner is visiting from abroad and wanted to try new york city pizza so we stopped in here. We got a pizza to split and she got a meatball sub as well (something about the show, Friends, and having to try one?). Was pleasantly surprised when I learned one of the workers was from Kosova as I'm moving there for a year and they were so kind to talk to us and connect with me online and made sure we were happy with our food. We were a dollar or so short in cash and they insisted it was okay. When I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back.

Friendly, professional staff. The Sicilian pizza I had was delicious and fresh. Very clean and well maintained. I will definitely return to this establishment.

Jay's Pizza is a solid, no-frills spot if you're looking for a a typical budget NYC-style slice. The pizza is decent-nothing over the top, but it hits the spot when you want something quick and classic. They've got good fountain soda, which is always a plus, and all the usual pizzeria staples like stuffed pinwheels, calzones, and garlic knots. There's also plenty of indoor seating, so it's easy to sit down and enjoy your food. Overall, a reliable neighborhood pizza spot.

I’d Pizza makes some delicious pizza as a local pizza joint. I’ve had them three times now and each experience is great. This last time I went in and was able to place a carry out order for a 18” combination pie (Pepperoni, Sausage, Peppers, Mushroom, Onions). They told me it would be about 20min and I could come back and pay when I picked it up. 20 minutes later and I was leaving with a fresh pizza. This was a Saturday around 5:30pm and there was really no wait which was great. The pizza has a great crust consistency that isn’t soggy or too chewy. The toppings and sauce tasted fresh and I thought it was a decent price for the size of the pizza in New York. If you don’t want to order a whole pizza they also sell almost everything by the slice and will heat it up for you. They also had a wide range of other food options which I might try the next time I’m in town. Overall a great experience every time I’ve been and a neighborhood staple with friendly staff!
